The manufacturer of photovoltaic structures SolarGroup reached the mark of 3 GW sold in solutions for own electricity generation in Brazil.

According to the company, the growth of projects was driven, above all, by the need for Brazilians to reduce their electricity bills, as there is a great perception on the part of residential and business consumers that solar energy is a cheap and accessible source.

And, to meet the growth in orders in the country and in South America, the company is following a schedule for expanding the two photovoltaic panel fastening systems factories installed in Greater São Paulo (Santana do Parnaíba and Itapevi), with investments of the order of R$18,7 million this year alone.

“The company will see exponential growth in revenue this year compared to the previous year. The company also plans a series of new product and technology launches in the coming months,” he commented. Norberto Da Costa, Marketing and Sales Manager at Solar Group.

This month, the manufacturer launches new technologies for fixing solar panels on the Latin American market that, according to the company, reduce installation time and help with faster rainwater drainage: the Fibro+ and the Smart Drain.

“In the case of Fibro+, it is a product that meets the main need of the integrator (solar system installation project company), which is to speed up work time on fiber cement roofs, with a minimum thickness of 5 millimeters, which can reduce the service provider’s installation time by 35%”, informed the company.

“The Smart Drain helps to drain water over the module more quickly. This prevents the accumulation of water close to the photovoltaic module frame, preventing shading caused by soot particles that the water leaves once it evaporates. The solution is also very economical, simple to install and helps to improve the efficiency of the system”, explained the company.

Currently, Solar Group has 410 employees and participates in photovoltaic projects throughout Brazil and part of South America. “Our investments are aimed at expanding operations and ensuring excellence in service to market players”, concludes Maurício Cunha, CEO of Solar Group.
