Juventude, from Caxias do Sul (RS), has been reaping concrete results from a strategy that combines efficient management and environmental commitment.

In 2022, the club began installing a photovoltaic solar energy generation system at the Alfredo Jaconi Stadium and the CFAC Training Center, in partnership with ProSolar, consolidating sustainability as a pillar beyond the pitch.

In total, 240 solar panels were installed, distributed across an area of 538 square meters. Of these, 200 are located on the roof of the stadium's seating area, while another 40 serve the training center facilities.

According to the club, generating their own electricity provides an average savings of approximately R$ 15 per month on the electricity bill.

In the first year of operation, the amount saved reached approximately R$ 180, helping to alleviate the fixed maintenance costs of the sports and administrative facilities.

In addition to the financial impact, the project also delivers environmental results.

According to data from Juventude, the system prevented the emission of 96,1 tons of carbon dioxide (CO₂) in the first year, a volume equivalent to planting 686 trees.

The plant's performance is tracked in real time via an app, monitored by the club and the company responsible for the installation.

For Juventude's president, Fábio Pizzamiglio, the initiative reflects a commitment that goes beyond sports.

"Juventude believes that sustainability and football go hand in hand. Our commitment goes beyond the pitch; we want the club to be an active agent in environmental preservation and the conscious use of natural resources. Every investment in clean energy or water reuse represents not only savings, but a legacy of responsibility for future generations," he stated.
