The 2025 edition of The smarter E Europe — the largest alliance of energy sector trade fairs on the European continent and popularly known as Intersolar Europe — brought together around 107 visitors from 157 countries throughout this week in Munich, Germany.

There were three days of programming – between Tuesday (6) and Thursday (8) with the participation of more than 2,7 exhibitors, who presented their innovative solutions to the market.

Considered the main renewable energy event in Europe, the congress brought to light the latest technologies in the sector, with emphasis on energy storage systems and decentralized, digital and intelligent models.

The trend reinforces that the future of the sector goes beyond clean generation: it requires integrated infrastructures, capable of guaranteeing stability, resilience and energy efficiency.

In addition to the innovations on display, the event also featured technical conferences and a series of side events, which attracted great interest from the public and expanded the debate on the future of the global energy system.

Like this , the in this and in editions previous, a next The smarter E Europe will again made em Munich, across os days 23 e 25 de June de 2026.

Positive reviews and expectations for 2026

For Markus Elsässer, CEO and founder of Solar Promotion GmbH, organizer of the event together with FWTM (Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik und Messe GmbH & Co. KG), the result of the 2025 edition was extremely positive:

“Our fairs complement and cover the main themes of the energy transition with depth and breadth. Once again, The smarter E Europe has presented the model of what a carbon-neutral energy world will look like.”

Jens Mohrmann, CEO of FWTM, also highlighted that – despite the challenges faced by some parts of the industry – the overall atmosphere at the event was extremely positive.

The enthusiasm and passion of the professionals gathered, who are dedicated to the energy transition, was evident. The fair demonstrated, once again, the strong unity of the sector and the power of innovation that drives this transformation.
