ZNShine Solar announces expansion of its production capacity to 10 GW

Company believes that expanding in scale and increasing manufacturing capacity

Chinese photovoltaic module manufacturer Znshine Solar has announced a plan to expand its production line for high-efficiency modules to 10 GW. The project's total investment is estimated at CN¥5.5 billion, equivalent to R$4.3 billion. The project's production base is located in Suqian, Jiangsu, in northern China.

The company stated that it based on market demand and customer order conditions to plan production capacity and draw up the expansion plan in advance.

All lines will be compatible with 182mm and 210mm wafers and will be equipped with several advanced module technologies, including laser cutting, multi-busbar, multi-cut and high-density packaging. The maximum module power will be 720 W for double-glazed modules, with sizes up to 2650 mm by 1450 mm.

The production capacity of the modules in the first phase is 4 GW, covering an area of 124 thousand m², and will be officially put into production in November this year. The production capacity of the second phase is 6 GW, expected to come into operation in 2021.

According to the manufacturer, the project will adopt advanced production equipment and automated production lines, introducing non-destructive cutting, small spacing and high density and multislice technology.

According to the company, the continuous expansion of the market and the constant updating of photovoltaic product technology motivate the solar industry around the world and influenced the manufacturer's decision to increase business participation in the global market and consolidate the company's position in the industry. photovoltaic.

Furthermore, Znshine believes that expanding scale and increasing manufacturing capacity can contribute to improving the quality of photovoltaic modules and increasing the competitiveness of companies in the international market.
