Aneel (National Electric Energy Agency) suspended on Tuesday (14) the approved tariff adjustments for distributors Coelba (BA), Enel Ceará (formerly Coelce) and Cosern (RN).
The new values would come into force on April 22nd. Last week, three other adjustments also had their application postponed.
The suspension of adjustments was requested by the distributors themselves. With Aneel's decision, companies will continue to charge current rates until June 30, 2020.
The difference in revenue will be adjusted and considered in the distributors' next tariff processes. Companies' contributions to the CDE (Energy Development Account), in the same period, were reduced by the deferred amount and should be restored to the account in the second half of this year.
How is it?
The Coelba (BA) adjustment, which will be applied from July 1st, will be 4,85% for low voltage consumers. For high voltage consumers, the adjustment will be 5,38%.
For Enel Ceará consumers, the adjustment will be 3,78% for high voltage and 4% for low voltage. For Cosern (RN) consumers, the tariff increase will be 2,92% for low voltage consumers and for high voltage consumers it will be 4,72%.
