BRAVA Energia achieved a net profit of R$1 billion in the second quarter of 2025, according to the financial statement released this Wednesday (6). The result represents the company's best performance since its creation, in August last year.
Adjusted EBITDA for the period was R$1,3 billion — an increase of 24% compared to the previous quarter — and net revenue totaled R$3,1 billion.
During the same period, the company also set a new quarterly production record, averaging 85,9 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d), a 21,3% increase compared to the first quarter. In July, this volume surpassed 90,9 boe/d.
According to the company's CEO, Décio Oddone, the performance reflects the company's focus on operational and financial efficiency. “This demonstrates the resilience of our portfolio and the success of our capital allocation strategy, with management focused on efficiency and leverage reduction,” he said.
Investments and debt reduction
The second quarter also marked a drop in investments (CAPEX), consolidating the second consecutive period of decline in this area.
The decline was driven primarily by the completion of the first phase of the Atlanta project, which included the drilling of two wells, the connection of six units to the new FPSO, and the installation of subsea equipment.
The company also reported a reduction in net debt, with the debt/EBITDA ratio falling to 0,3x compared to the first quarter of 2025.
Expansion into renewable energy
Recognized for its performance in the oil and gas sector, BRAVA Energia is expanding its presence in renewable sources. The company has invested in solar projects and other initiatives focused on the energy transition, aiming to diversify its portfolio.
In 2024 alone, the company allocated more than R$2,2 billion in taxes and royalties to renewable energy initiatives, reaffirming its sustainable expansion plan and the generation of shared value.
