According to the Agency, since the beginning of the year, solar energy has grown about 20 % in Brazil, jumping from 25,2 GW in the first week of January to the current 30,4 GW.
in the segment of distributed micro and minigeneration, are 21,05 GW of installed power, with more than 1,93 million connections recorded since the beginning of the expansion of solar sources in the country.
Already the large power plants today they have 9,34 GW of power in operation, with just over 18,1 thousand enterprises. The segment also has more than 107 GW planned to come into operation through plants that are in the construction phase or have not yet started.

In particular, we have an immense opportunity to use technology in social programs, helping to reduce government spending on electricity so that they have more resources to invest in health, education, public safety and other societal priorities”, he commented.
