Businessman Vinicius Pires da Silva Allazio, owner of VP Solar, was arrested in Espírito Santo on suspicion of involvement in fraud related to the sale of land and solar energy systems.
According to the Civil Police, there was an outstanding arrest warrant against him for fraud involving photovoltaic equipment and installation services that had allegedly been paid for but not delivered.
According to information from G1, the businessman was initially arrested on July 9 during an investigation into the irregular sale of plots of land in Vila Velha (ES).
Police reported that he was approached while negotiating the purchase of a plot of land and was carrying a check for R$100, which allegedly belonged to one of the victims of the scheme. In addition to the real estate investigation, Allazio is cited in lawsuits filed by clients of VP Solar.
An 85-year-old retiree and an evangelical church claim to have contracted photovoltaic systems from the company without receiving the equipment and services that were promised. The client contracted, in October 2024, a system valued at R$ 65 and paid R$ 50 as a down payment.
The deadline for delivery and installation ranged between 70 and 100 days, but it ended in January 2025 without the service being performed, according to lawyer Lisandri Paixão Santana Lima Junior, who represents the consumer.

Another lawsuit was filed by an evangelical church located in the municipality of Serra. The institution claims to have paid R$ 64.990 for the purchase and installation of a solar system. The contract was also signed in October 2024, but the deadline passed without the service being completed.
According to the lawyer, VP Solar began closing its physical operations in early 2025. The company maintained units in municipalities such as Serra, Vitória, and Venda Nova do Imigrante, as well as other locations in the interior of Espírito Santo state.
The establishments were reportedly closed under the pretext of restructuring, with services continuing online.
Suspected real estate fraud
The investigation that led to the arrest also looks into the sale of land belonging to third parties. According to the Civil Police, the businessman was part of a group suspected of using documents in the name of a company to give the appearance of legality to the transactions.
The plots of land were being sold within an area of 62 square meters, valued at R$ 670 million and involved in legal disputes. Police are investigating the possible involvement of other individuals in the alleged scheme.

In the city of Americana there is a company called SOLPAC. I purchased a photovoltaic system in the city of Pedreira, as did many other people.
They told you that after the installation, the bank (Santander) would release the financing amount.
But the money was released that same week and they didn't deliver the product.
I had to resort to legal action to stop the unjustified charge.
I spent half the cost of the license plates on a lawyer.
Unfortunately, this is our Brazil, where a con artist enters through one door and leaves through another, knowing that nothing will happen to him.
Here in the interior region of São Paulo, we had Ser Solar, headquartered in Barretos, with an office in Ituverava, SP, which even defrauded the city hall in 2018. And to this day, nothing has been done. We were defrauded, and we all just see the same thing happening, waiting for a justice system that doesn't work for the working citizen.
How long will he stay in prison, and if convicted, will he serve his sentence?! Rich people never pay… They laugh in our faces… They buy judges and authorities of all kinds… The payroll is huge ⚖️☎️
Residential solar energy has become a haven for scammers now and in the future, with 20-25 year system warranties.
The expression "caveat emptor" is fitting!
I was scammed here in Campos dos Goyracazes.
A company called LRT, whose owner was named Lucas, scammed me. I paid him seventeen thousand reais in advance. I already knew him as a service provider for another company. He gave me a receipt, closed the company, and disappeared. I took legal action, but the scoundrel was never found by the officer. This happened four years ago.
I was scammed here in Goiás by the company Suprasol Energia Solar. I filed a police report against them, and at the consumer protection agency they told me that they had already scammed people out of one million two hundred and fifty thousand reais in Goiás.
Now I ask, where is the justice system in Goiás that does nothing to stop this guy?
They put an electronic ankle monitor on him and send him home. The justice system is a disgrace, Gilmar Mendes is trash.
These criminals should get life imprisonment, unfortunately there isn't one in Brazil. There's one here in Maceió involved in solar panel fraud. People pay for the panels and he doesn't deliver. A real crook.
Unfortunately, besides the government not helping, we also have these crooks hindering those who work honestly.
