Last Sunday (23), CCEE (Chamber of Electric Energy Commercialization) launched a national campaign to introduce the free energy market to consumers.
The free energy market, which allows consumers to choose from whom to buy electricity, negotiate prices, and opt for contracting energy from renewable sources, is one of the main transformations expected for the electricity sector in the coming years.
The campaign's objective is to broaden knowledge about consumer rights and responsibilities, as well as the opportunities and risks associated with the new market, aiming to translate this process into simple and accessible language.
“We are moving towards a new relationship between consumers and electricity, where the key word is choice. For consumers to make good decisions, they need to be well-informed, and it is with this objective that CCEE invested in this campaign,” says Ricardo Simabuku, interim CEO of the Chamber of Commerce.
To bring the topic to a wider audience, the project combines different communication channels, including broadcast television, advertisements, advertising in ride-sharing vehicles, content production, social media, print media, and relationships with specialized publications.
The strategy aims to bring a traditionally technical subject closer to people's daily lives and help consumers understand what changes with the opening of the market.
