A cemig will purchase electricity from an incentivized source, coming from solar and wind generation projects. Registration is now open and continues until October 3 from 2022.
According to notice published by the company, deadlines for PPAs (energy purchase contracts) will be for 10 or 15 years, starting in January 2026 and continuing until December 2035 and 2040, respectively.

Also according to Cemig, projects located in the North will be able to participate in the auction, if they make energy available in another submarket. A companhia It also highlighted that at no later time can the chosen submarket be changed, unless agreed between the parties.
