Tariff review x tariff adjustment

The Periodic Tariff Review (RTP) is the most complex process and occurs every four years and has the purpose of evaluating and maintaining the economic balance of the dealership. It defines: efficient distribution cost; quality and energy loss targets; and the X Factor components for the tariff cycle.

The Annual Tariff Adjustment (RTA) updates electricity tariffs and Parcel B by the excessive growth established in the contract (IGP-M or IPCA) minus the X factor (IGP-M/IPCA – X Factor). The two reviews are the two most used tariff processes in concession contracts.
