Brazilian consumer behavior has been changing and this is directly reflected in how the solar energy market is positioned.

According to RB Solar, the current scenario demands more than just competitive prices: it requires flexible solutions, fast service, and sales arguments capable of demonstrating the return on investment in photovoltaic systems.

The company's analysis is based on the "Full View of Consumers" survey by NielsenIQ, which indicates that basic expenses account for an average of R$ 1.300 of Brazilian families' income.

At the same time, the survey conducted by the company shows that consumers continue to invest in items focused on comfort at home, such as dishwashers, whose sales grew by 136%, and video game consoles, with an increase of 39%.

According to RB Solar, this behavior indicates that consumers have not given up on quality of life, but have begun to analyze more rigorously where to invest their money.

In this context, the company understands that solar energy is no longer perceived solely as a long-term investment, but rather as an alternative to reduce a recurring fixed expense—the electricity bill—and expand families' consumption capacity.

For the company, this change also altered the role of integrators. Today's more discerning client demands customized proposals, quick budget preparation, and options compatible with different financial profiles.

Given this scenario, RB Solar states that it has reformulated its commercial strategy to offer more support to its partners.

"People management and in-depth study of current consumption patterns have changed how RB Solar views the photovoltaic energy sector. The company understood that, for integrators to close sales with this client who is financially strapped and highly rational, they need options, agility, and solid sales arguments," the company stated.

As a result of this positioning, the distributor reports having recorded 45% growth between December 2025 and July 2026, with performance driven by the expansion of its sales and technical team, focusing on professionals prepared to understand the needs of integrators and support the structuring of projects.

Another point highlighted by RB Solar is the expansion of its product portfolio. The company has started working with a more diversified inventory, bringing together different brands and solutions for on-grid and hybrid systems, allowing integrators to adapt projects to the budget and needs of each customer.

Logistics has also become an integral part of the distributor's commercial strategy. According to the company, 80% of orders are shipped on the same day, reducing the time between the sale and the start of installation.

According to RB Solar, speed of delivery contributes to increasing the competitiveness of integrators in an increasingly dynamic market.

“We study the behavior of the end consumer because they are the ones who decide whether the integrator's project gets off the ground or not. The 45% growth since the end of 2025 shows that this works,” highlighted Marcelo Taborda, Commercial Director of RB Solar.
