Ecori Energia Solar and solar panel manufacturer JA Solar signed a commercial agreement this week for the sale and distribution of hundreds of thousands of photovoltaic modules. According to the companies, this is one of JA Solar's largest contracts in Latin America.

“This contract makes us even more prepared for the growing demand in our market,” says Leandro Martins, president of Ecori Energia Solar.

He also highlighted that the partnership with JA Solar reinforces Ecori's leadership in MLPE technology in the Brazilian market and its positioning of always prioritizing safety as an inalienable value for the DG (distributed generation) market in the country.

“Ecori is one of the pioneers in the MLPE technology market and a reference in technical competence, so we are very happy with the strengthening of the partnership between the companies. And JA Solar is a company focused on quality products and technological leadership, which demonstrates the synergy between the two. This is the type of partner we seek to work together and strengthen the market”, highlights Felipe Yugo Yamaguishi, National Sales and Distribution Manager at JA Solar.

Felipe highlights that last year, JA Solar increased sales in Brazil by three and a half times, with Ecori being one of the brand's main customers. This year, with the closing of the contract, Ecori will once again stand out among JA's largest and most significant partners in Brazil.

“This contract is about six times larger than the volumes negotiated between the companies in 2021, gaining great representation in Latin America”, highlights Felipe.
