Electra Illian Energia announced the start of operations at the Irecê I Solar Complex, developed in partnership with Acelen and Perfin Infra. Located in João Dourado, Bahia, the project has an installed capacity of 161 MWp and received over R$ 500 million in investments.

With an estimated generation of 363,7 GWh per year, the energy produced will be destined for Acelen's Mataripe Refinery, under a self-production model, a strategy that reinforces the company's progress in the use of renewable sources in its industrial operations.

The project comprises 229 photovoltaic modules installed on 2.463 trackers, occupying an area equivalent to 276 football fields. The infrastructure also includes 229 power centers, 1.144 km of cables, and a substation equipped with a 150 MVA transformer.

O complex It also has its own 138 kV transmission line, 27,8 km long and with 99 towers, responsible for connecting the plant to the SIN (National Interconnected System).

According to Electra, the project reinforced its socio-environmental commitment through the protection and monitoring of fauna and flora, the generation of jobs in the region, the proper management of waste, the rational use of resources, and continuous dialogue with local communities.
