A Evolve Energy entered into a partnership with Elis, a recently launched company from Patria Group. The manager will invest approximately R $ million 550 to create more than 30 solar projects and thereby accelerate the democratization of access to solar energy in the country.
With this partnership, the Evolua achieves more than R$1 billion in energy projects under its management, adding contracted energy, shareholder equity and other fundraising carried out throughout the company's history, which began in 2020.
According to Tarcísio Neves, CEO of Evolua, the signed partnership ensures the already accelerated availability of new photovoltaic plants, which together with the UFVs already in operation and construction, should serve more than 100 thousand homes and commercial establishments.
“With this, we will reach more than 260 MWp of energy availability by 2024”, he explained. Currently operating in Minas Gerais, Pernambuco and Ceará, Evolua intends to reach seven states by the end of the year.
According to the executive, the new partnership with Élis strengthens the company's expansion process. “Evolua was structured to be a lean company with optimized processes.”
“In 2020, the company's go-to-market process included investment from its own shareholders, which enabled the start of the operation, which has been accelerated through partnerships such as Élis/Pátria and other investors in DG projects” .
“Our purpose is to support a sustainable perspective, with a cleaner planet, and also in the economic scenario, generating new jobs and reducing essential costs for people’s lives, both in large centers and in urban businesses in inland regions”, concluded Neves .
