Distributor Aldo Solar and photovoltaic inverter manufacturer Growatt have signed a 2,5 GW power distribution agreement for next year. According to the companies, this is the largest DG (distributed generation) agreement in Latin America.

For Aldo Pereira Teixeira, founder and CEO of Aldo Solar, the agreement strengthens the photovoltaic segment in the country. “The partnership with Growatt brings the certainty that we will deliver competitive and highly technological solutions for the Brazilian solar energy market in distributed generation. Thus, we take another important step towards the development of the solar energy sector”, he highlights.

“Through a strong and close partnership with Aldo Solar, the Growatt team is able to deliver the highest quality products, strong technical support and the best customer service in Brazil. We are very proud of the significant progress made in bringing advanced and reliable technologies to Brazilians, and we will continue to impact, alongside Aldo Solar, the development of clean solar energy in this beautiful country,” said Frank Qiao, vice president of Growatt.

“The partnership with Growatt brings the certainty that we will deliver competitive solutions for the Brazilian Solar Energy market in Distributed Generation. Therefore, we take another step towards the development of the sector. Furthermore, Growatt offers cost-effective options for resellers and installers across the country with the most complete and innovative portfolio of on-grid, off-grid and zero grid inverters. Finally, we aim to promote the production of clean, highly technological and cheaper energy for all Brazilians”, adds Teixeira.

The CEO of Aldo Solar also highlights that by strengthening this long-term partnership, the company hopes to double the milestone of 200 generators sold in the last 5 years and earn more than R$6 billion in 2022.

“With the exponential growth of solar energy in Brazil, expectations are for an increasingly greater generation of clean energy, significantly reducing CO₂ emissions into the environment and contributing to the country's economic and social development. Success for companies, for the planet and for the economy”, says Teixeira.

Currently, Growatt provides the Brazilian photovoltaic market with a wide range of products and solutions, including 0,75-253 kW on-grid string inverter, 2-30 kW off-grid energy storage inverter compatible with lithium battery from 2,56 to 400 kWh from Growatt and intelligent, zero-grid management solution for photovoltaic systems.

Today, there are more than 40 engineers dedicated to supporting Brazilian consumers. THE Growatt established two service centers in Brazil and promises many new features, starting in January 2022, confirming its investment and care for the Brazilian market.
