Helius 700 W HJT module hits the Brazilian market

With a growing share of the global market, particularly in Europe and China, HJT (heterojunction) technology is the most modern and innovative in terms of bifacial technology.

Bifacial and with a stable temperature coefficient (-0,24%/°C), Helius is launching the 700 W Helius Hyperion module with HJT technology on the Brazilian market. The product has a lower degradation rate – which maintains generation close to 88,27%, even after 30 years of use.

“We launched the Helius Hyperion family at Intersolar South America in 2024 in Brazil, and because we saw the industry's demand for quality products, combined with the increased interest in large-scale plants, we are launching this solution that has exceeded the expectations of the European and Chinese markets,” reported Holley Wang, Overseas Sales Director of the manufacturer.

Helius Sunlink PV, as one of the pioneers in the manufacture of solar panels, has since 2004 directed its R&D (research and development) teams towards new and better materials, equipment, technologies and production processes, aiming to increase the efficiency of modules linked to cost reduction.

In-house cell production: Helius' quality control strategy 

“With fully automated production, end-to-end quality control through online monitoring of all panels produced and encrypted and individual serial numbers, we ensure protection against counterfeiting and the highest quality of modules sold around the world,” Wang highlighted.

To ensure quality standards, the company stated that electroluminescence tests are performed on all modules to check for microcracks, broken or inactive cells, soldering or conductivity failures, and short circuits. Furthermore, all panels undergo Flash Tests to ensure that the power is in accordance with the technical information in the datasheet.

“In this journey of more than 20 years and powers that varied from 160 W to the most recent Helius Hyperion of 700 W, the result could not be different: better cost-benefit and customer satisfaction around the world. The new products are now available for the national market”, concluded the executive.
