The DMEGC LATAM team won the global award for excellence, the Excellent Development Award, during a ceremony held by the Hengdian Group on Tuesday evening (10) in China.
The recognition celebrates the operational performance of the Latin American unit, based in Campinas, which recorded a compound annual growth of 149,6% in photovoltaic module shipments between 2023 and 2025. The award comes at a time of strategic consolidation, in which the team has expanded its customer base and is now among the major distributors in the region.
DMEGC Solar LATAM's CEO, Candice He, represented the team during the ceremony in China. According to Candice He, this achievement validates the decentralization strategy and the parent company's commitment to the Brazilian market, demonstrating that proximity to the end customer and regional technical adaptation are the pillars of success.
The executive highlighted that the unit transformed market projections into concrete logistical results, establishing a new level of efficiency for the sector. The operation's progress is supported by figures that demonstrate financial strength and logistical reach. Revenue in the region jumped 146% when comparing the periods analyzed.
According to Danilo Borrigueiro, the unit's director, the award is a direct reflection of collective work that faced significant challenges and strengthened internal processes to ensure ethical compliance and quality in delivery. Borrigueiro states that 2025 was marked by the consolidation of the team as a reliable partner, prepared to grow sustainably in the photovoltaic market.
In addition to commercial performance, the unit's communication strategy was also a key factor in achieving this success. With proactive and daily engagement, the team recorded the highest follower growth rate in the sector, with a 351% increase and an engagement rate of 11,51%.
For Johnny Santos, LATAM Marketing Manager, the department's role has been to translate technical strength into a close and authentic connection with the market. Santos emphasizes that the goal for 2026 is to further strengthen the team's image as a strategic partner for the development of the solar sector in the region.
With an ambitious goal set for 2026, the group, which began operations with just three employees, now has a robust multicultural structure.
