The MME (Ministry of Mines and Energy) published, this Wednesday (17), the Ordinance No. 765/GM/MME, of 2024, which opens a public consultation on the procedures for requesting the classification of distributed mini-generation projects in Reidi (Special Incentive Regime for Infrastructure Development).
The consultation will be open for 30 days and aims to receive suggestions from different segments of the energy sector and civil society on the procedures in question.
The proposal aims to regulate the sole paragraph of Art. 28 of the Law No. 14.300 / 2022, which included distributed minigeneration projects in the list of electricity generation infrastructure projects eligible for inclusion in Reidi.
Reidi is a program that stimulates private investment in areas such as energy and other sectors related to infrastructure.
Companies included in the program have their PIS/Pasep and Cofins contributions suspended for five years, relating to the acquisition, lease and import of goods and services.
