Astronergy has announced Matheus Cerutti as its new Head of Sales for Latin America in a strategic move to expand the Chinese manufacturer's presence in the region. With over eight years of experience in the solar sector, Cerutti has previously worked for leading companies in the photovoltaic module market.

The appointment comes after Eduardo Gama left the position to assume the role of Sales and Marketing Director at Sungrow. Having worked together in earlier stages of their careers, Cerutti takes on the mission of continuing Gama's legacy, focusing on accelerating Astronergy's growth in key Latin American markets.

In recent years, the module manufacturer has registered strong expansion in Brazil, rising from 8th position in imports in 2023 to the Top 3 in 2024, according to data from Greener. In 2025, the company maintained its leadership until August, consolidating its presence in the national market.

“I arrive at Astronergy with great determination and confident that together we will build a successful journey. The company has gained significant market share, and it is an honor to join the team at this time,” says Cerutti.

Astronergy maintains a presence with major distributors and project partners in the region, including BelEnergy, WEG, Fortlev, Atlas Renewable Energy, and Kroma Energia, strengthening its network and consolidating its Latin American growth strategy.
