Solar panel manufacturer Minasol Energia Solar expanded its unit in Amapá. In the local market for five years, the company was a pioneer in the state, producing solar panels from 150 watts to 320 watts and solar inverters from 0,6 to 60 kwp. The inauguration ceremony took place last week and was attended by the governor of Amapá, Clécio Luís, and vice-president Teles Junior.

The project is part of the state policy that guarantees tax incentives and the benefit of the special regime when importing goods from abroad with tax incentives on circulation of services (ICMS), reduced to 1%, through the import corridor.

“We are proud of this news from Minasol. What we see here is the result of a lot of work done with Agência Amapá, even before I took over the Government. By having active economic activity, we have jobs, income circulation, and dignity for the people. The expansion of businesses like Minasol is an example of this. Continue counting on the Government”, highlighted the governor.

The new park generates, in the initial phase, around 50 direct jobs and up to 300 indirect jobs, strengthening the market, increasing income generation and, consequently, boosting economic development, also benefiting the Municipality of Santana.

“We have a lot of work ahead of us. The group considers Amapá to be the turning point for Minasol. Without the effort and commitment of the Government and its collaborators, this would not be happening either. After Minasol settled here, we cultivated a love for the state and our expansion is a demonstration of this. This is our home”, said the CEO of the Minasol group, Abdias Eduardo Pontes.

We tried to contact the company to find out the production capacity of the manufacturing unit, but we were unsuccessful.
