PHB Solar launched a campaign this Monday (05) with the participation of six integrating companies to show how the conditions of each region can influence the choice of solar generation, storage and energy continuity solutions.
Entitled “One Brazil. Many realities. PHB solutions”, the initiative will be set against the backdrop of El Niño and will bring together experiences from MGF, Trends Solar, Loop Energy, Sonar Renewables, Help Energy e Solar Electro.
The companies will share experiences and insights regarding market characteristics and energy needs in their respective regions.
The climate phenomenon is underway and should be intensify throughout the second half of 2026, according to the WMO (World Meteorological Organization).
In Brazil, the effects may vary between regions, with a higher probability of above-average rainfall in areas of the South, reduced rainfall in parts of the central-north, and elevated temperatures in different parts of the country.
The campaign aims to connect these differences to the needs encountered in energy projects. Topics covered will include autonomy, storage, continuity of supply, and the suitability of existing photovoltaic systems.
From the regional context to the solution.
Participating companies will present their insights on market behavior, consumer profiles, and energy demands observed in their areas of operation.
The aim is to show how factors such as network availability, frequency of outages, consumption profile, and the characteristics of each installation can lead to the adoption of different configurations.
PHB Solar will supplement the reports with content about technologies applicable to each scenario. The campaign will not treat the potential effects of El Niño as equal or inevitable across the entire country.
Although the phenomenon alters temperature and precipitation patterns, its effects are not uniform. The intensity and distribution of the impacts depend on the evolution of oceanic and atmospheric conditions, as well as the characteristics of each region.
According to a joint technical note from INPEAccording to INMET, Funceme, and Censipam, projections indicate a high probability of El Niño occurring and persisting during the second half of 2026.
Off-grid, hybrid and retrofit systems
The campaign will showcase off-grid solutions designed for facilities that operate independently of the grid or that need to increase their energy autonomy.

In this category, PHB Solar will address the VM and MKS lines, as well as retrofit solutions. This application allows incorporating new equipment or functionalities into existing systems without necessarily requiring a complete replacement of the installation.
Among the hybrid solutions, the ES, ESLD, ET, and ETL lines will be presented. These systems allow for the integration of photovoltaic generation, the electrical grid, and energy storage according to the configuration and needs of the project.
The initiative will show in which situations each architectural style can be used, relating the technology to the installation conditions and the consumer profile.
The solutions for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) will also be discussed, highlighting the possibilities of using storage in different energy scenarios.

One Brazil, different needs.
According to PHB Solar, Brazil's geographical and climatic diversity means that energy needs vary between regions.
Therefore, the campaign seeks to present the topic in an educational manner, without establishing an automatic link between El Niño and the need for a particular technology.
Based on the experience of integrators, the company intends to present different realities and relate them to projects that require autonomy, storage, energy continuity, or adaptation of existing systems.
The choice of solution will depend on the characteristics of each installation, such as consumption profile, network availability, loads that need to be maintained, and consumer objectives.
Content built collaboratively
The campaign will be developed in different formats, including videos, carousels, photographs, and educational content.
The materials will combine the integrators' experiences with technical information from PHB Solar on off-grid, hybrid, retrofit, and energy storage systems.
With this initiative, the company aims to broaden market knowledge about the different applications of solar power generation and batteries, relating these technologies to the energy needs found in various regions of the country.
