SolarEdge has reinforced its expansion strategy in the Brazilian market with the arrival of Pedro Alves to the company's team. This move comes at a time when the company seeks to increase its proximity to local integrators and distributors, in a context of maturing photovoltaic sector in the country.
According to the company, the hiring is part of a broader move to strengthen SolarEdge's presence in Brazil, considered one of the most important markets for the company in the distributed generation segment.
The company believes that the Brazilian solar sector is going through a phase of greater regulatory maturity and market professionalization, an environment that directly aligns with SolarEdge's technological proposition, based on efficiency, safety, and differentiation for integrators.
In this context, the manufacturer believes that the executive's arrival should contribute to strengthening relationships with the company's business partners and expanding the brand's presence in the country.
Among SolarEdge's official distributors in Brazil are companies such as Dynamis, Sirius, and Ecori, which are part of the company's distribution strategy for 2026.
Technological differentiation in a competitive market

SolarEdge also seeks to position itself in the Brazilian market based on a technological differentiator in a sector marked by the strong presence of Chinese manufacturers.
The company, which is of Israeli origin, emphasizes that it does not have manufacturing facilities in China and recently expanded its industrial structure with the opening of three new factories in the United States.
The investment aims to make products more commercially competitive and improve logistical efficiency to serve strategic markets.
“This expansion not only supports our growth objectives, but also reinforces our promise to customers: reliable, high-quality technology with shorter delivery times and greater supply chain stability,” said Marty Rogers, General Manager of SolarEdge.
Approaching integrators
Another pillar of SolarEdge's strategy in Brazil is the direct relationship with integrators and partners in the sector. Since 2023, the SolarEdge Elite Program has aimed to recognize, encourage, and highlight integrating companies that invest in the solution, delivering benefits in sales, marketing, and support.
The company has maintained a local team in Brazil since 2018 and also develops initiatives focused on partner relationships, including specific loyalty programs for integrators.
According to the company, the goal is to support distributors and integrators in delivering solutions that prioritize efficiency and safety, characteristics that are part of SolarEdge's technological foundation.
A time of expansion.
Alves' arrival comes at a time considered strategic by the company, which sees Brazil as a market with great growth potential in the medium and long term.
For SolarEdge, the advancement of regulation and the maturation of the sector create a more favorable environment for technological solutions that add value to the integrator and the end customer.
In this context, the company is focusing on strengthening local partnerships and expanding its presence in the country as part of its global expansion strategy.
