A survey conducted by Bulbe showed that the term "solar energy value" registered a 52,6% increase in searches on Google Brazil in the last six months. The analysis also identified growth in other searches related to the technology: the term "solar energy price," for example, saw a 46,2% increase.

According to the study, the increased interest is mainly associated with the impact that photovoltaic generation can have on reducing electricity bills. The research indicates that the demand for information about the technology is related to successive increases in electricity tariffs.

The survey also indicates that consumption tends to increase during the summer, a period when families use refrigeration equipment more frequently and spend more time indoors on hot days, which contributes to higher energy bills.

Furthermore, the growth in research is keeping pace with the expansion of the sector itself in the country. In recent years, Brazil has registered a significant increase in the installation of photovoltaic systems, exceeding international projections for the advancement of solar energy by two years.
