At Intersolar Europe 2026, held in Munich, Germany, Solis presented its portfolio of energy storage solutions, highlighting retrofit applications that allow batteries to be added to already installed photovoltaic systems.
According to the manufacturer, demand for this type of solution has been growing in Europe as residential consumers and businesses seek to increase self-consumption of generated energy, reduce dependence on the electricity grid, and minimize the impacts of electricity price volatility.
Among the solutions presented is FlexAIO, an integrated storage system developed to facilitate retrofit projects in residential facilities. The company also showcased solutions aimed at the commercial and industrial markets.
Another highlight was Solis AI, an energy management platform based on Artificial Intelligence. As explained by the company, the technology automatically optimizes battery charge and discharge cycles, taking into account factors such as consumption profile and, when available, time-of-use energy tariffs.
According to Solis, the market has been moving towards models that integrate photovoltaic generation, storage, and intelligent energy management.
"Customers are looking beyond hardware and considering complete energy ecosystems capable of adapting to changes in tariffs, shifts in consumption patterns, and future energy needs," the company stated.
During the trade fair, a European distributor who has worked with the manufacturer for over 12 years attributed the partnership to the company's production structure.
“We have been working with Solis for over 12 years. One of the main reasons is that the company carries out all production internally. They don't rely on a fragmented production model and maintain constant investments in research and development,” the distributor pointed out.
According to the company, the advancement of energy storage in Europe also reflects a change in consumer profiles, with people now seeking solutions capable of integrating generation, storage, monitoring, and intelligent energy management into a single system.
