Tramontina announced its new line of products for solar energy generation during the Intersolar Summit Brasil Sul, held last week in Porto Alegre (RS). The event brought together experts and companies from the photovoltaic and energy storage sectors.
According to the company, with the expansion of installed solar energy capacity in the country, especially in Rio Grande do Sul, one of the states with the largest photovoltaic base, the objective is to reinforce its presence in a market that is growing in both urban and rural areas.
The Solar Energy division, integrated into the brand's electrical materials factory, develops systems for residential, commercial, and smaller-scale industrial applications. With distribution starting in the state in 2025, the company has plans for gradual expansion to other regions.
Tramontina enters the solar market with a line of modules and inverters.
At the trade show, Tramontina presented inverters and solutions for electric mobility, as well as the T Smart app, which allows users to track generation in real time, and Solar Tramontina, aimed at integrators and installers, with remote monitoring.
Founded in 1911, Tramontina operates in various segments and maintains eight manufacturing plants in Brazil, six of which are in Rio Grande do Sul. With more than 10 employees and a presence in over 120 countries, the company has been expanding its investments in sustainability and innovation, connecting its century-long history to the national energy transition.
