The 4th National Meeting ABSOLAR (Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy) will take place on December 11th and 12th at the Rebouças Convention Center in São Paulo (SP). The event seeks to bring the latest trends and opportunities in the sector, such as energy storage and renewable hydrogen production.

The National Meeting ABSOLAR annually brings together the main professionals in the photovoltaic solar sector who are looking to update themselves on regulatory and market news, in addition to meeting potential suppliers, customers and partners for their business.

There will be more than 100 speakers over the two days of the event, spread across three stages: Blue Stage – Strategic Vision for Leadership; Yellow Stage – Energy Transition and Solar in the World; and Green Stage – Tactical and Operational Aspects, Regulatory (Certification, GTS and FTs). In addition to the lectures, there will be a business showcase with over 15 companies from the sector on display.

According to the ABSOLAR, the photovoltaic sector represents around 20,2% of the entire Brazilian electricity matrix, that is, the second largest source of energy in the country. It is also the third largest global solar energy market according to the report “Global Market Outlook For Solar Power 2024”.

Camila Ramos, Vice President of Investments and Green Hydrogen at ABSOLAR points out that solar energy is also essential for the development, emergence and competitiveness of the green hydrogen market.

“Green hydrogen enables the decarbonization of several sectors that are difficult to decarbonize, such as fertilizers, steel mills, aviation fuels, for example, among others,” concludes Camila.

For Fernando Lemos, manager of the Associative Department of ABSOLAR, the event features “programmatic content, opinions from industry professionals and very important numbers that will help with your strategic planning”.

Interested parties must register using the form available on the event website, by clicking here.
