Agrishow is a business showcase for solar energy companies

One of the main agricultural technology events in the world takes place this week in Ribeirão Preto (SP)

Photovoltaic solutions for Brazilian agribusiness were highlighted during Agrishow 2023, the 28th International Agricultural Technology in Action Fair – one of the main agricultural technology fairs in the world, which takes place this week in Ribeirão Preto (SP).

The event began on Monday (1st) and continues until Friday (5). Several companies that offer products and services for the photovoltaic market presented their solutions to professionals and investors in Brazilian agribusiness.

Ecori Energia Solar presented its solutions for solar pumping and hybrid systems in this edition, in addition to products already known by the market in general.

“Ecori this year took a more focused look at agribusiness and with that in mind, we brought solutions to serve this sector. One of them is 100% photovoltaic water pumping. Basically, we work with the modules and inverters that feed the pump with energy from the Sun”, explained Murilo Félix, agribusiness and large projects manager at Ecori.

“We are demonstrating operation with 100% photovoltaic and also with the option of a control panel with the choice of switching with the grid, or with a generator, if there is a need, for example, to switch on at night”, he points out.

“The interesting thing is that we can activate any type of pump, ranging from 0,5 HP to 500 HP”, he added.

The company also displayed Deif hybrid controllers at its booth.

“We brought hybrid controllers that control power from different sources, prioritizing the photovoltaic and complementing it with the diesel generator. With this, the generator will work at its minimum reserve and save a lot of diesel oil. This means more profitability in the harvest, energy security for the producer and sustainability in the field”, he explains.

Present for the first time at Agrishow, Serrana Solar, a solar energy company from Caxias do Sul (RS), presented its solutions for rural producers with a focus on generating high volumes of energy.

One of these solutions is the Solar Pump Driver, which allows irrigation and pumping needs to be met, which tend to be the most expensive for rural producers.

Ilumisol also made its presence felt at the fair with its products. The company showcased its portfolio of hybrid inverters and batteries, which should be available on the market from August.

“We plan to make hybrid systems available on our platform from August this year. We have already carried out several acceptance tests, such as Inmetro and other international standards to validate our products”, highlighted Carlos Brandão, the company's R&D Coordinator.

He also pointed out that the company also offers energy storage solutions and products for large-scale systems to the national market.

Tangisa, a company belonging to the Tangipar group, presented visitors with its business models, which integrate subscription solar energy and the opportunity to invest in solar farms.

To mark its first participation at Agrishow, Intelbras displayed an inverter charger that enables the implementation of large off-grid projects and its solutions for water pumping.

Regarding on grid solutions, which require access to the public distribution network, the company presents its solar energy portfolio, which meets small to large demands, including solutions that can be financed via Finame.

Valley has prepared an ecosystem of integrated solutions for Agrishow 2023, which aims to collaborate with the agricultural evolution process, making farming even more intelligent and efficient.

Among this year's main attractions are the AccuRail project; Machine Diagnostics; Ethernet, Satellite and Hybrid Connectivity; Pump Command; Insights family and Solar Box.

In addition to these highlights, Valley also offers well-known management, services, management, control and monitoring solutions, as well as on-grid, off-grid and hybrid solar energy options.

Credit and financing for solar energy

Santander will be present at Agrishow 2023 with a wide range of solutions to serve rural producers interested in both lines of credit for financing, such as Rural Product Bonds (CPRs), and for investment, such as Multiagro, its most traditional line.

“Among the special conditions are exemption from commission (flat rate 0%), which applies to the total purchase value, and pre-approved credit for 12 months with post-fixed rates”, informs the bank.

Also according to the institution, in this edition of Agrishow the Bank intends to surpass the deals closed at last year's fair, which totaled R$ 1,37 billion.

Credicitrus, also present at the fair, is presenting special rates for associated producers, including pre-approved credit limits for the sector such as: acquisition of inputs within the intercooperation agreement with Coopercitrus, agricultural/livestock costs, purchase of machinery and equipment new vehicles, vehicle financing and purchase of photovoltaic energy.

“Credicitrus is a protagonist here at Agrishow and every year it brings new features, mainly in competitive credit lines. Our rate was very aggressive, being the best in the fair for financing photovoltaic projects. We brought the rate of 1,30% per month for a period of 60 months”, informed the company.

Sustainability in practice

Thinking about energy autonomy and sustainability, the energy for Agrishow is supplied through a photovoltaic system. According to the organization, the measure meets Agrishow's proposal to conserve the environment, reducing the ecological impact.

In addition to the use of renewable sources to supply energy, the event also carries out the appropriate collection and disposal of different types of waste and the recycling of materials.

There are more than 800 exhibitors present at the event, both national and international. According to the organization, the estimated audience for the event is around 190 thousand people, from Brazil and abroad.
