The beverage manufacturer Ambev informed that reached a arches of using renewable energy in all its operations No. Brazil, something that had initially been stipulated by the company to only happen in 2025.

Since 2017 the Brazilian multinational has been betting on construction of solar plants and purchase of clean energy from partner companies, such as 2W, Engie and Neoenergia, with the objective of supplying its own units.

According to the company, the energy transition internal work – despite having started in Brazil seven years ago – began in other Latin American markets, as in Chile and Argentina.

In neighboring nations, the Ambev signed partnerships with energy suppliers to purchase renewable sources, preferably solar and wind, for its operational units.

In this sense, project was developeds, for example, with Enel in Chile and with Green Power in Argentina for the commercialization of clean energy in the private sector.

In addition to Argentina, Chile and Brazil, the Ambev's energy transition strategy remain firm in six other countries in Latin America: Paraguay, Uruguay, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Panama and Guatemala. The company's global goal is to achieve Net-Zero by 2040.
