Second survey carried out by Soleasy, average watt-peak price, power unit created especially for measuring photovoltaic panels, fell for the 3rd consecutive time, reaching an all-time low.
In its 5th edition, Radar Solfácil collected data on projects totaling more than R$6 billion, between consultations and financing carried out, with the aim of offering support to integrators in the pricing of solar energy projects distributed throughout the national territory.
Also according to the indicator, the average price of photovoltaic projects in Brazil reached the lowest value since the beginning of the calculations, registering R$ 4,39/Wp, which means a drop of 3% compared to the second quarter of 2022.
“At the end of 2021, with the impact on the supply chain caused by Covid-19, the global market faced a shortage of components, which led to an increase in solar energy prices,” said Francisco Simon, VP of Sales and Marketing at Solfácil.
“However, in 2022, with the regularization of stocks and increased competitiveness, in a market with more companies and integrators participating across the entire chain, prices began to fall, as identified by our indicator”, he explained.

Analysis by state
According to ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency), the states of SP, MG, RS, BA and GO are the ones that generated the most connections in the country in 2022. Thus, data from Radar Solfácil show that São Paulo has the largest difference in R$/Wp between the mesoregions (Campinas and Presidente Prudente), of R$/Wp 0,97.
Bahia has the smallest difference between the mesoregions (South Bahia and Far West Bahia) of R$/Wp 0,25. However, Campinas (SP) and the Metropolitan Region of Porto Alegre (RS) are the most expensive mesoregions (R$/Wp 4,66).
Despite the consecutive drop, the survey showed that in some states project values are higher, in some cases being up to 30% above the national average. The difference in prices between them can reach up to R$ 1,21 Wp, driven by Sergipe, Rio Grande do Sul and Pernambuco, which are historically more expensive locations.
“The Solfácil Radar is another way to support and enhance the efforts of integrators with market intelligence. Our focus is to help integrator partners increase their business by sizing and pricing correctly within their own region”, concluded Simon.
Most used inverter brands
Regarding the inverter brands most used in projects, Growatt was the most chosen among those who installed the photovoltaic system in the last three months, standing out mainly in the North, Northeast and Central-West regions.
Regarding the Southeast and South regions, the research emphasized that Deye emerged for the first time, with greater preference in projects with the lowest power ranges.
