AVT announced a commercial partnership with Huawei to expand its operations in the Brazilian energy storage market. The agreement involves the acquisition of BESS systems (battery energy storage systems) aimed at C&I (commercial and industrial) projects.
Through this partnership, the distributor will incorporate equipment from the Chinese manufacturer into its portfolio, expanding the options available to integrators developing energy storage projects.
According to AVT, the solutions can be used in applications such as demand management, peak shaving, and optimization of energy use in commercial establishments and industrial facilities.
The company stated that the choice of Huawei took into account the manufacturer's international experience and its role in developing digital energy and storage technologies.
Thomas Fae, director of AVT, highlighted that the agreement is part of the distributor's expansion strategy in the Brazilian market. "We believe in the potential of the energy storage market in Brazil and understand the importance of building partnerships with companies that share our long-term vision," he stated.
“We chose Huawei for its track record, capacity for innovation, and international recognition. Both companies have solid histories and value quality, technology, and continuous development. This partnership strengthens our growth strategy and expands the opportunities we can offer our integrators,” he added.
With the acquisition of this equipment, AVT aims to expand its presence in the commercial and industrial segments, offering integrators new options for projects involving storage, energy management, and reduced operating costs.
