O BNB Faucet (Banco do Nordeste) made available for 2025 approximately R$ 200 million in credit for the purchase and installation of solar energy generation equipment for homes, through the financing line FNE Sol Pessoa Physics. The volume is 27% higher than the R$157,5 million contracted in 2024.

Lívio Tonyatt, superintendent of MPE (Micro and Small Business) and Individuals at BNB, explains that this increase in the supply of credit serves to meet the growing demand for resources in the solar energy sector, which jumped from five thousand contracts in 2023 to six thousand in 2024.

Banco do Nordeste finances up to 100% of the project and the client pays the calculated installments in order to have a return on the investment in a short period of time.

“Loans at low interest rates combined with long terms and a significant reduction in the value of the electricity bill mean that the investment made in the operation does not impact the family budget and starts to yield a positive return in a short period of time,” said Tonyatt.

To make the contracts, interested parties can go to Banco do Nordeste branches or request credit directly through the BNB website, where it is also possible to simulate the operation.

Check below the amounts that were made available by Banco do Nordeste for each of the 11 states served by the financial institution:
