The Procel Seal aims to be a simple and effective tool that allows consumers to find out which of the equipment and appliances available on the market are the most efficient and consume the least energy.
Consumption and performance indexes are established for each category of equipment. Each product applying for the seal must undergo testing in laboratories designated by Procel. Only products that achieve these indexes are awarded the seal.

The panel is sent to the laboratory designated by INMETRO, which, through rigorous testing, confirms whether the panel produces energy according to the power declared by the manufacturer or importer, thus attesting to the efficiency of the equipment.
