Great! But I have a question that has been bothering me a lot these days! Each photovoltaic module manufacturer has adopted compatible and proprietary MC4 connectors in their products. This also occurs in some inverters! According to Brazilian standard 16690, we must always use connectors of the same model and manufacturer in a connection. Every time we change module manufacturers in a photovoltaic system, unfortunately we have different connectors. Some solution needs to be adopted! Either the 16690 standard is changed at this point, which is easier, or manufacturers of modules sold in Brazil are forced to always use the original MC4 (Stäubli). Am I incorrect in my assessment?
