Canal Connect

The first edition of the congress of Canal Solar was held in November 2022, at the UNICAMP Convention Center (State University of Campinas), in Campinas (SP).

The lectures addressed current topics in the solar energy sector, such as large-scale energy storage, floating solar plants, green hydrogen, O&M (Operation and Maintenance) and after-sales services, as well as information on how professionals sector could prepare for Law 14.300 and the arrival of hybrid inverters on the national market.

In addition, the event also featured discussion panels presented by renowned representatives of the photovoltaic sector, such as Alexandre Borin, sales director at Canadian Solar; Bruno Kikumoto, director of Canal Solar; and Gustavo Tegon, secretary of solar energy at INEL (National Institute of Clean Energy).

According to Geraldo Silveira, engineer at the Canal Solar and one of the presenters of the O&M panel, the event was a great opportunity for those present to learn about the sector.

“At last year's event we brought experts from the photovoltaic energy sector to talk about O&M, it was quite enriching, because it brought to the audience a lot of practical and relevant content that professionals experience in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of solar systems”, points out Geraldo.

According to the engineer, the Canal Conecta is an opportunity for professionals in the photovoltaic sector to absorb more knowledge in order to apply their learning in the day-to-day running of their companies.
