In the last update of BNEF (BloombergNEF) in 2023, the inverter manufacturer Chint Power led o bankability ranking, allowing advances and brand recognition in the Brazilian market.

“Receiving the title of No. 1 shows that the company is beyond capable and safe in terms of guaranteeing delivery, support and reliability”, highlighted the company.

“This is a title that Chint carries to close 2023, a year of changes, reorganization and advances for the brand, mainly within the Brazilian photovoltaic market. The year 2024 will be one of great new goals and launches of high-tech products”, they highlighted.

Importance of bankability

The bankability analysis is carried out based on different parameters and shows the company's financial indicators that prove whether it is financially healthy, whether it can honor its commitments within a given period and whether it is highly profitable.

For the solar sector, bankability is fundamental, especially when making purchasing and selling decisions. Among the photovoltaic chains, it is extremely important to pay attention to this indicator, whether integrator, distributor, manufacturer and importer.

In this sense, it is important to know the following points about the importance of bankability:

  • Bankability says whether the company can deliver the agreed order, guaranteeing the financial planning of the project;
  • Guarantee of large projects and good credit negotiations;
  • Bankability attests to the company's ability to meet equipment warranties. The latter, according to Chint, is very particular to the solar segment, as the projects employ products with a life expectancy of 25 to 30 years.

About Chint Power

Founded in 1984, Chint is a global provider of energy solutions. It has an extensive business network in more than 140 countries and regions, as well as more than 40 employees and an annual sales revenue of more than US$16,9 billion.

The company has been ranked among the 500 largest in China for 20 consecutive years. Its subsidiary, Chint Electrics is the first company in the country with low voltage electricity as its core business, being listed on the A-share market as one of the top 50 listed Asian companies.
