Companies in the solar sector come together to produce modules larger than 600 W

Associated companies are part of the entire industrial value chain

Companies in the solar energy market have established an alliance with the aim of building products, systems and standards for a cutting-edge technological platform, committing to produce photovoltaic modules with power greater than 600 W.

Called the 600W+ Ecological Photovoltaic Alliance for Open Innovation, the group is made up of 39 companies, which aim to create a new innovative ecosystem through open collaboration, optimizing synergy between the main resources of the industrial chain and integrating processes, such as R&D (Research and Development), manufacturing and applications.

According to Trina Solar, one of the manufacturers that makes up the group, the alliance appears as a key issue to bring more value to customers and promote the sustainable development of the photovoltaic industry, as the solar source is becoming one of the most important driving forces for energy transformation.

The associated companies are part of the entire industrial value chain, being specialists in wafers, silicone, cells, modules, trackers, inverters, materials and equipment manufacturers. Among them, for example, in addition to Trina, are JA Solar, Risen, SMA and Sungrow.
