After a first full of news and with a large public presence, the Intersolar South America 2022 arrives this Wednesday (24) for your second day of exhibitions. the team of Canal Solar is already present on site to bring you the main technologies presented.

On Tuesday (23), we released some of the news related to the topics of battery storage, inverters and high power modules. Today, the focus will be on solutions for structures, trackers and cleaning of photovoltaic panels.

Check out the highlights from the second day of Intersolar South America 2022 below and also be sure to stay tuned on our social media and YouTube not to miss anything.

Structures and trackers

Known nationally for offering structures for photovoltaic equipment, SSM This time it brought a new product to the Intersolar fair: the Tracker SSM 4.7. “We brought several configurations to suit both GD and GC. All technology is 100% national, from software, equipment, engines and structures. It’s all done by SSM”, said Carlos Bebiano, CEO of SSM.

This year, the NTCSOMAR brought a new line of roof structures, called Ultrafix – a system for fixing the profile on the support, which uses quick coupling to speed up installation. In addition, the company also presented solutions for ground systems, which aim to optimize the installation, ensure better adjustment of the slope, in addition to having holes for grounding.

A brametal, in addition to presenting solutions in metallic structures for photovoltaic solar generation and application in its projects, brought to its stand the Bra Tracker Bifileira, which holds up to 140 panels in a vertical portrait and has a DC Motor drive, self-feeding and a wireless communication system . The product does not require the use of welding, heavy or special tools to be installed in the field.

A Trina Solar introduces its new TrinaTracker model, the Vanguard 1P, which adopts the 1P single-line design and includes technological advantages that ensure greater reliability, more significant power generation, optimized balance of system (BOS) cost and improved adaptability.

The equipment has SuperTrack algorithms that provide an extra performance gain of up to 8%. The smart tracking algorithm is used to optimize energy production in high diffuse irradiance weather conditions, while the smart backtracking algorithm optimizes energy yield when shading is caused by installing arrays on uneven terrain.

A STI Norland was also present at Intersolar South America 2022. The company brought the Tracker H250 – the main technology sold by the company in Brazil – to its understanding. “What’s new are engineering optimizations and technical engineering consultations,” said Paulo Gonçalves, structural engineer at STI Norland.

At the beginning of the year, the company signed a partnership with Array Technologies and, for this reason, promises to bring a series of new products next year. “As they are under development, we still prefer not to go into details, but they will be new things that will differ a little from the market,” said Gonçalves.

Module cleaning

A 2P, in addition to bringing its complete line of structures for the most diverse types of roofs, it brought as one of its new products to Intersolar a manual photovoltaic module cleaner. The technology only needs to be plugged into a 220w source and connected to a water source – which can be a water tank or a tap – to be able to work.
