Decathlon, a sporting goods store located in Campinas (SP), was chosen by CPFL Energia to install a carport, a shelter for automobiles covered by solar panels, with a charger for EVs (electric vehicles) and a lead-carbon battery bank.
According to the company, the electric chargers are in the installation phase and are part of an R&D (Research and Development) project in electric mobility.
The initiative is a partnership between CPFL Energia, Moura, ITEMM, UFPE, IATI, Decathlon, and CPFL Soluções, and is funded by the R&D program. ANEEL. The launch is scheduled for the next few months.
In total, 30 540 W modules from JA Solar were installed to build the plant, which has 16,20 kWp. In addition, they used a 12,5 kW inverter from Fronius, two 60 kW chargers from Power Electronics and a BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) with 100 kW power and 200 kWh capacity from Moura, the company responsible for installing the project. as a whole.
