Developing increasingly complex electrical and photovoltaic projects requires precise and efficient tools. Aware of this need, Electro Graphics has introduced the 2025 Series, a solution that aims to optimize projects and ensure high-quality results.
With this new series, the company said customers will have access to the latest technologies and advanced tools, simplifying tasks and increasing productivity.
Check out the main new features listed by the company below:
Electrical CADs – iDEA, Eplus and CADelet
- CADelet compatible with AutoCAD 2025;
- Eplus and iDEA software utilize the new Autodesk OEM 2025 CAD engine, providing significantly faster opening and editing of schematic files;
- New window for quickly creating control panels and buttons, with Drag&Drop operations;
- Automatic generation of the layout of control panels and buttons, with design of the front and back of the panel;
- Assignment of equipment typology for generating the control panel, with new drawing blocks for buttons, indicators, keys, identification plates, etc.;
- New interactive and adjustable Frame Layout drawing window on the properties tab;
- Possibility of assigning the number of refrigeration equipment when calculating the overtemperature of the panels;
- Definition of dynamic parameterized macroblocks, with variables for managing the visibility of the macroblock elements;
- Managing the visibility of macroblock elements dependent on schema or system parameters or variable settings managed with Fast Builder;
- PLC: design of the distributed representation of the I/O chain with parameterized macroblocks with usage typologies and variables dedicated to PLC management;
- Generation of the single-line diagram using MT cells composed of parameterized macroblocks;
- Management of energy concessionaires' input pattern blocks;
- Automatic sizing of electrical conduits in accordance with NBR 5410, with recognition of the occupancy limit of 53% in the case of one conductor, 31% in the case of two conductors, and 40% in the case of three or more conductors;
- SQL database support for managing the symbol library on the local network, improving editing and searching performance by more than 80%;
- Optimized access to symbol libraries and material files on a remote network, making the most of the features of SQL databases, with a significant increase in performance.
Cabling and Bill of Materials – Cable and Tabula
- Optimized use of the Microsoft SQL Server database in a client-server context for managing files of materials, cables, terminals and protection devices on the local network;
- Significantly increased speed when using search filters, basic file operations (new, edit, duplicate, delete) and import/export operations if applicable;
- Quick access to material files, devices and symbol libraries with remote network and VPN connection.
Calculation of electrical networks – Ampere Line
- Improvements in interface and operational speed;
- Cutting section: the new tab in the Supply window allows you to dimension projects that do not derive from a delivery point (Energy provider), but rather from an existing panel.
- Selectivity curves interface update: the curve is highlighted when selected, and the labels display the selected fault type;
- New method of assigning TC/TO in the network, with the possibility of identifying coordination with protections;
- Possibility of associating TC/TO with BT users and protections;
- Real-time Arc Flash calculation on all frames present in the project;
- Management of new reports and printing labels from Arc Flash analysis;
- Management of locked and disabled frames for editing in the project mesh, with multiple unlocking functions per zone;
- Possibility of excluding frames and/or zones from the general recalculation, to speed up operations in the case of large systems;
- Viewing the network in compact mode with closed frames, with a synthetic representation of the electrical parameters of the users entering the frame;
- Quick functions to switch and open the board you want to operate;
- Additional checks and consistency checks of assigned cables in relation to the selected installation and conductivity conditions;
- Possibility of considering a typical mechanical delay for MV circuit breakers at design level, in addition to allowing a specific mechanical delay for each element of the switch file;
- Management of MT cell files with parameterized macroblocks for the single-line diagram, with the possibility of associating CT/VT drawings, motorized drives, etc.;
- EGlink: improvements to ensure compatibility with Revit 2025;
- Ampère Evolution: management of P/Q capability curve files according to manufacturer data;
- Ampère Evolution: association of P/Q curves of points to the generating elements of the network;
- Ampère Evolution: generation of the system's V/Q capability curve.
- Expansion and updating of the database;

- Grid-zero system sizing;
- Hybrid system update;
- Greater flexibility in the use of power optimizers, it is now possible to configure optimizers with one and two photovoltaic modules in the same photovoltaic series;
- Shading analysis of the 3D Layout: expansion of the shadow projection to +-3 hours and +-4 hours in relation to solar noon;
- Import of the horizon profile through PVGIS considering the defined orientation and inclination angles;
- Management of inverters with multiple trackers and different characteristics;
- Management and sizing of electrical conduits;
- Representation of electrical conduit labels in the system Layout;
- Generation of the list of materials for electrical conduits;
- Expansion and updating of databases.
