With the publication of 14.300 Law, Elgin expects accelerated growth in orders for photovoltaic kits from companies that work on projects and installation of residential, commercial, industrial systems and rural properties in the country.

For Glauco Santos, director of Elgin's solar division, the new law brings more legal certainty and predictability to companies in the sector and to consumers themselves.

“The new legal framework consolidates Elgin’s optimistic vision in the photovoltaic segment. We are focused on this market with enormous potential and this achievement further reinforces the solar source as a viable option for an economic and sustainable future”, he highlighted.

The company closed 2021, with 200% growth in the sale of solar energy kits compared to the previous year.

According to the company, the increase was driven, above all, by the water crisis and recurring tariff adjustments in energy bills, which led many to look for viable alternatives to this situation.

“Another major factor was the launch of Elgin’s own e-commerce platform, focused on selling kits to partner integrators, facilitating the purchasing process and providing greater agility in the logistics process,” explained Santos.

In 2021, residential generators led orders at Elgin, with an 80% share, followed by commercial (15%) and industrial (5%) generators. The company has equipment installed throughout the country and a commercial team operating in all regions of Brazil.
