A FIESP (Federation of Industry of the State of São Paulo) and the FIEC (Federation of Industry of the State of Ceará) signed cooperation agreement to Olos technology ABSOLAR (Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association) and ABEEOLIC (Brazilian Association of Wind Energy and New Technologies) with the aim of promoting development e consolidation do market de H2V (green hydrogen) in Brazil, especially in São Paulo and Ceará.

The signing took place this Tuesday (26) during an official event at the FIESP headquarters, with the presence of the presidents of the entities, including Josué Gomes, from FIESP, Ricardo Cavalcante, from FIEC, Ronaldo Koloszuk, from ABSOLAR, Elbia Gannoum, from ABEEÓLICA, and representatives of the productive sector in São Paulo and Brazil.

The joint efforts of the entities aims to support the expansion of the competitiveness of H2V, produced using electrical energy from wind, biogas and solar photovoltaic sources, throughout its value chain, identifying the total cost of producing the fuel. It also provides for the identification of attractive regions for its production and hubs that optimize transport costs, both for the domestic and international markets.

The proposal of the entities with the agreement is to identify potential synergies in the local industry with the production of electrolyzers and other equipment used in the production of H2V and green ammonia, as well as contributing to the construction of targets for the production and use of the fuel in the states of São Paulo and Ceará. , regions identified as major hubs for Brazilian green hydrogen.

Cooperation also involves stimulating, contributing and supporting public policies aimed at promoting the production and use of H2V and its derivatives and replacing the current use of hydrogen and ammonia of fossil origin with that of renewable origin at the state and national level, in addition to contribute to attracting investments, companies, generating jobs and income, as well as technological and industrial development.

For Ronaldo Koloszuk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ABSOLAR, in a few years, Brazil will be able to produce the most competitive renewable hydrogen in the world, as long as it develops adequate public policies, programs and incentives. “Therefore, the support of the productive sector, in line with public authorities, is essential for the creation of fuel production routes from renewable sources”.
