Chinese inverter manufacturer GoodWe announced a strategic alliance with distributor Prodalam to expand the supply of hybrid photovoltaic systems in Chile. The agreement will be formalized next Wednesday (13), in Santiago.
With over 50 years of experience, Prodalam is one of the leading Chilean distributors, present from Arica to Punta Arenas, and will now officially represent GoodWe throughout the country. According to the company's general manager, Rodrigo Moncada, the partnership arose from a detailed analysis of market demands and the search for cutting-edge technology.
“We thoroughly studied customer needs in light of the current photovoltaic offerings and chose GoodWe as a strategic partner because of the proven quality of its products, backed by a 10-year warranty across its entire line of hybrid inverters and storage systems. This collaboration will allow us to offer reliable, high-performance solutions—from residential to industrial and agricultural projects—driving the transition to more efficient and sustainable energy in Chile,” says Moncada.
The first project resulting from the partnership is already underway: a 100% autonomous system installed in Chilean Patagonia, in cooperation with the company Energía Indómita, from Puerto Natales. The system comprises 192 Trina Solar modules of 610 Wp, two GoodWe hybrid inverters of 50 kW and two Lynx C batteries of 100 kWh, guaranteeing energy autonomy even in extreme conditions.
According to GoodWe's vice president for South America, Fábio Mendes, the agreement with Prodalam represents a decisive step in consolidating the brand in the Chilean market.
“Prodalam is a solid company with deep knowledge of the territory and a history of trust among its clients. This partnership combines Prodalam's local experience with GoodWe's technology and reliability, strengthening our presence in Chile and expanding access to smart energy solutions. It is another step in our mission to make clean energy accessible and sustainable throughout South America,” highlights Mendes.
