A Hopewind will participate in Intersolar South America 2024, the main innovation center for renewable energy in Latin America, which brings together the biggest players in the global photovoltaic sector.
Between the 27th and 29th of August, at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo (SP), the company will showcase its latest technological advances aimed at C&I applications (commercial and industrial). Among the highlights is the 150 kW string inverter and 75 kW tropicalized version, both developed especially to meet the needs of the Brazilian market.
Those inverters offer exceptional safety with features such as temperature detection in both DC (direct current) and AC (alternating current), ML-RSD and AFCI. Furthermore, they incorporate advanced features such as Export Power Management, ensuring compliance with network requirements (including the Zero Export function) and IV curve scanning, which speeds up the detection and correction of module faults.
The company's three-phase inverters are designed with the self-adjustment function, which allows automatic adaptation to the specific conditions of the 220 V and 380 V three-phase networks in Brazil. This feature makes commissioning and output power adjustment easier, making the inverters highly versatile.
The 150 kW, 380 V three-phase inverter can automatically adjust to operate optimally with the 75 kW, 220 V three-phase model. Additionally, these devices offer Wi-Fi connectivity for integration with the HopeCloud 4.0 platform and support for communication via Power Line (PLC), ensuring greater flexibility and ease of use.
Another major highlight that will be presented at the fair is the PCS (Power Converter System) string, with powers ranging from 145 kW to 250 kW, marking its debut in the Brazilian solar sector. With IP66 protection and C5 anti-corrosion, this system was developed to guarantee durability and reliability.
Modular design enables independent management of battery racks, eliminating single points of failure and offering flexible, scalable solutions. The Grid-Forming feature enables integration with electrical grids and microgrids, standing out as a versatile solution for different applications.
Lots of news
The 330 kW string utility inverter, recognized as the most powerful string inverter on the market with a maximum output power of 385 kW, according to the manufacturer, will also be on display at the stand, located at B1.79
Hopewind's highlight, as the only Chinese finalist for this year's Smarter E Award in the Photovoltaic category at Intersolar Europe, was this 330 kW string utility inverter.
Already widely used, including in the 2 GW Kubuqi project with more than 5.600 units, the company said the product features excellent heat dissipation, IP66 degree of protection and adaptability to SCR networks, making it ideal for high-temperature and arid environments , ensuring reliable operation without power reduction up to 45°C, thus increasing system performance.
“We are truly excited to be back at Intersolar South America this year. Brazil has always been a significant part of our global expansion,” he said. Sara Wang, Vice President of Hopewind.
“In addition to building a local service center with experienced experts ready to offer timely and efficient support, we have also dedicated ourselves to developing customized products for the Brazilian photovoltaic market. In the future, we hope to partner with more customers and bring more of our quality products to the country”, he highlighted.
