A Huayu launched for the Brazilian photovoltaic market the new hybrid inverter HYH-6K-BR, with an output power of 6 kW. According to the company, the equipment also has a peak power of 18 kW, supports diverse energy management modes in solar charging/public grid/generator and electrical power supply/inverter for AC loads.

Additionally, it is compatible with 48V battery banks and has ultimate control with five working modes: AC grid and DC battery priority mode, generator mode, standalone and ECO. “They transform the system into an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), automatically switching to off-grid mode in no more than 4 milliseconds to keep loads safely powered,” highlighted the manufacturer.

Hybrid storage system with rapid shutdown

Pure sine wave charging

With a pure sine waveform, Huayu highlighted that the product produces very low harmonic distortion and clean energy, such as electricity supplied by the utility company.

All-in-one hybrid system

Another point highlighted by the company is that the solution is integrated with a 100 A / 150 V MPPT solar charge controller, a 6.000 W pure sine wave inverter and a 35 A battery charger in a compact unit, allowing you to take advantage of the energy stable from the Sun and the power grid to keep you powered under any circumstances.

Switching in 4ms

In the event of an AC or solar charging failure, the inverter charger will take over supplying the alternative option in less than 4 ms, which will keep the electronics working.

Safety and wide battery matching

HYH-6K-BR is equipped with multiple and complete software and hardware protection, including short circuits, overvoltage, overload, overtemperature, overcurrent, etc., ensuring uninterrupted normal operation of the system. Finally, Huayu stated that the equipment is preset for 48 V SLA, AGM, GEL and Lithium batteries, for example.
