Hypontech expands series of three-phase inverters and targets Brazilian market

According to the manufacturer, the inverters can be used in residential and commercial photovoltaic systems

The significant increase in photovoltaic sources in Brazil has attracted the attention of several international markets, mainly China, one of the main players in the Brazilian electricity sector.

The Chinese manufacturer Hypontech, which expanded its series of inverters connected to the three-phase HPT grid with the new 15 kW, 17 kW, 20 kW and 25 kW models, announced that the equipment should arrive on the Brazilian market in the next two weeks and will be distributed by Minasol.

The equipment is distributed in all regions of Brazil through authorized Hypontech distributors. For example, Minasol is distributing Hypontech inverters in the state of Minas Geras. According to the company, the inverters can be used in residential and commercial photovoltaic systems.

Furthermore, they are equipped with four strings of plug-in DC connectors, allowing up to 1000 Vdc and 150% oversizing capacity of photovoltaic arrays, in addition to being classified with IP65 protection class and having optimized heat dissipation.

The manufacturer currently has a portfolio of photovoltaic strings and storage inverters, as well as intelligent energy management solutions.

In the year 2021, Hypontech will have the complete portfolio covering 1-50kW string grid-tied inverters as well as single-phase storage solutions. Operating in more than 50 countries on 6 continents, the company has ambitious plans for the coming years.

“To meet the growing demand for smaller, decentralized solar systems, Hypontech is building a portfolio of services around this converged world. Having deployed offshore warehouses and service centers in South America, Asia and Australia, with more to come in the near future, localized support can offer a highly efficient solution for remote areas and emerging cities,” said Shaochen Ji, head of Hypontech Marketing.
