A ISA CTEEP reported that he energized his first solar power plant all with remote self-consumption at the Mogi Mirim III Substation, located in Mogi Mirim (SP).

The modality will allow the company share the energy credits between its different consumer units.

“This modality maximizes the use of the energy generated, reducing costs and optimizing the management of energy consumption by the company, in addition to reducing greenhouse gas emissions,” explains Carlos Shiguematsu, new business manager at ISA CTEEP.

With an investment in the order of R$ 3,4 million, the Mogi Mirim solar plant has a installed power of 500 kW.

In total, the system is capable of generating enough clean energy to serve 35 consumer units of the company in the region, contributing to the annual reduction of 38 tons of CO2e.

With works carried out in five months, the system is composed of 1.165 555 Wp photovoltaic panels, two 250 kW inverters and a 500 kVA transformer installed in an area of 6.700 m².

In a statement, the company highlighted that it aims to expand solar energy generation at its facilities, with the plan to build three more plants in other substations in the State of São Paulo by the end of 2025.

“With these new plants, we will have an installed capacity of 1500 kW in the ISA CTEEP concession area and approximately 2.500 photovoltaic panels”, comments Fernando Ruiz, reinforcements and improvements manager at ISA CTEEP.
