A Jinko Solar announced, this Tuesday (10), the launch of the second generation of the family Tiger Neo, which includes three series with up to 445 Wp for 54 cells, 615 Wp for 72 cells, and 635 Wp for 78 cells, with efficiency up to 22,27%, 23,23%, and 22,72%, respectively.

According to the company, this generation of panels is built based on N-type TOPCon technology, which provides better performance and reliability that results in better results.

“This is one of the most efficient and powerful panels in the world, available with up to 23,23% efficiency and a power of 615 Wp for the 72-cell module in the 182 mm format”, reported the manufacturer in a note.

Another point highlighted by the company is that the line has continuous advances in the bifacial factor: “with a bifacial factor of up to 85%, a 15-20% higher yield is possible compared to conventional bifacial panels”.

Renewables supply more than 50% of Jinko Solar's factories

Furthermore, the Tiger Neo family has an optimized temperature co-efficiency of up to -0,29%/℃; cutting-edge reliability over its 15 year extended life compared to conventional bifacial modules, 0,4% linear degradation over 30 years and 1% first year degradation.

“The module also has unmatched low-light performance, such as sunsets and cloudy skies, and compatibility with almost all major inverter brands,” Jinko emphasized.

“We are once again raising the bar for N-type performance with the latest generation of our Tiger Neo panels, which deliver improved system performance – even through a variety of demanding conditions,” said Gener Miao, CMO of Jinko Solar.

“This module, combined with an industry-leading N-type partner ecosystem and new solutions like ESS (Energy Storage System), will showcase what is truly possible for the solar sector moving forward,” concluded Miao.
