Module manufacturer JinkoSolar this week launched its new generation 610 W Tiger high-efficiency monocrystalline TR solar module and its BIPV solutions, Building Integrated Photovoltaics product series, which will be showcased at SNEC 2020 in Shanghai, China.

According to the company, the performance of the Tiger Pro 610W is due to the high-efficiency N-Type HOT 2.0 cell technology, independently developed by JinkoSolar.

Due to the introduction of new technologies such as HOT encapsulation layer-passivated contact and advanced metallization, the cell efficiency reached 24,79%, setting a world record for monocrystalline silicon solar cells.

Also according to the manufacturer, the use of the 78-cell design and TR technology helps to significantly reduce cell difference, in addition to reducing electricity costs and improving system compatibility.

Jinko also launched its first version of the colorful BIPV module series. According to the manufacturer, with an output power of 550W, this series of products comes in a variety of colors and translucency levels, incorporating modern architectural aesthetics for use as a building component.

“Reducing costs and increasing efficiency is the goal the industry has always strived for. JinkoSolar has always been committed to providing global customers with high-efficiency, high-quality and extremely reliable solar modules,” highlighted Jin Hao, CTO of JinkoSolar.

“We will increase our investments in research and development to ensure constant innovation in our technology, improve product performance and ensure the highest system compatibility. This will allow us to fulfill our commitment to offering the best service to our global customers and enable the application of solar modules in a variety of scenarios, further strengthening the solar PV sector and achieving grid parity,” he concluded.
