Kstar announces expansion of the portfolio of single-phase on-grid inverters in Brazil

The Chinese manufacturer Kstar announced that, by the end of 2021, it will make available single-phase 8 kW and 10 kW on-grid inverter models for the Brazilian photovoltaic market. It currently has single-phase devices from 1 kW to 6 kW. According to the company, a market survey was carried out in the country for the launch of the products aiming at a more complete portfolio.

In addition, the manufacturer reported that internal adaptations and the inclusion of equipment in the process will be necessary to obtain registration with Inmetro (National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology). For the residential segment, Kstar offers the Blue-G and KSG series of on-grid inverters. According to the company, these products are designed to match the voltage and AC wave phase of the grid's sine wave.

They also have a power range of 3-6 kW and a maximum efficiency of 98,3%. In addition, they operate at temperatures from -25 °C to 60 °C and have less than 3% total harmonic distortion. According to Kstar, the equipment has reactive power control, optional DC switches, Wi-Fi and GPRS plugs. In addition, they offer DC power of up to 1,35, IP65 protection and overvoltage protection.

Service center

Last month, the company announced the creation of a service center in the city of Caxias do Sul (RS). The goal is to offer after-sales support, warranty and training to customers in Brazil. “As a leading inverter manufacturer, one of our top priorities is to provide professional and reliable after-sales service. Therefore, this is an important step for us,” says Roy Du, responsible for sales at Kstar in South America.
